Remember, it's always a good time to market any distro when someone has
a problem, instead of of actually expecting them to listen to point-by-
point, _exact_ reasons why they were having issues.
I gave exactly that.
Apparently, when something doesn't act like we expect, some of us want
to blame anything but ourselves for not understanding. Which is why it
happens again, and again, and again, etc...
If I want marketing, I'll run commercial software.
I want Freedom, which is why I learn to use the system as it was
designed.
You might not like it and you are free to choose otherwise. But it
doesn't mean the system is "broken." And given that failure of the user
to understand mounting is the "root cause" here, it *WILL*OCCUR*AGAIN*
on *ANY*DISTRO*.
Some people will see this response as me being a "jerk." So be it.
I honestly tried to explain things, and I _never_ called him "stupid."
But I did say that Windows _does_ let you do stupid things that cause
corruption.
