Interesting article, but I have to ask...  What the hell is Red Hat
smoking?  XFS as the default filesystem?  Not that XFS is a bad
filesystem, and having it as a supported option is a great thing, but I
can't imagine why they would want it as the *default*.  It is not and
never has been a default on any Red Hat or Fedora distribution, and Red
Hat is notorious for not really testing it.  (As an example, see
