IA-64 is NOT x86-64 -- x86-64 compilation

Manually specifying the architecture, i.e.
make menuconfig ARCH=x86_64  
brings up the correct configuration.
Seems a little buggy though, menuconfig threw a bunch of warnings at me.

It is there, I don't know why I didn't see it earlier.
