Maybe, but you *really* need to just fight through the changes.
(Usually it is just that default settings changed, and you have to
change them back to what you expect.)  Otherwise, in a few months
you'll be running what is essentially an unsupported distribution.

Yeah, I know there's Fedora Legacy, but Extras, livna, etc. don't
support old distributions *nearly* as long as they do, and those other
repositories are where are the fun stuff is.
