ah sorry i had stopped at this section and wasn't grasping the mail from
the outside world

in that case might i suggest using procmail with one rule to route all
local mail to your inbox and and anything else (the default rule) to 
/dev/null (i like that file if you couldn't tell =), the other benifit to
doing it this way is if you suddenly have another domain this user NEEDS 
to recieve mail from you just add another rule to make it so
