It just took a bit more effort.  I had to install one package by hand.
(It looks like they forgot to bump the revision on the openssl096
package.)  The other problem was xmms, which I was trying not to
upgrade, since I didn't want to lose mp3 support.  I guess I'll just
have to rebuild that myself...
