Re: New Gforce card
Thanks Matt
I've just hosed my system two times in the last two days and have been
trying to put things back together. "You gotta love this stuff Right". And
thanks to the others that responded -- not sure who as I lost all of my
email in the last fight to the death? Guess I need to learn more about
partitions.
I dual boot with win2k. I have it installed and RH 8.0 installed now. When
I ran the 8.0 install it set up the generic gforce 4 card. I can now only
boot into text mode. I tried to use xf86config to reconfigure but have got
nowhere with that. Not sure what I should try next. I did set colors to
24. The drivers that you provided links to will not do me any good until I
can get into X right? If you know what I should try next please let me
know.
Thanks
