Are you putting
@virtadd1 wendi
If so and you don't have something setup in /etc/aliases then it is not
goin to work if the wendi account doesn't exist. Once you feed it just a
username it hands the mail off to the local mailer at which point if it
isn't in /etc/passwd it doesn't exist. Or are you doing something
different?
