No Subject

Ok, this is weird:  I can put
 wendi@virtadd1     wendi@bish.net

(keep in ming no user wendi is on bish.net, just an aliases)
and the mail gets there, but if I put

@virtadd1	user

she isn't found and the mail isn't delivered.  Anybody know what's going
on?
