Keyboard

Has anyone ever had X use a different keyboard layout than the console??

I login & everyhting is fine, I startx and all my keys are messed up..
It's like X is using a different layout than the console.

Anybody have a clue??

BTW I am running LinuxPPC on an iBook, in case that makes a difference....
