maybe its the kernel im thinking of and not gcc

oh well

i think im gonna get mandrake 7.2, it seems that freebsd works great under
vmware under 2k but has issues with my mobo so a direct install dies.


the fun part will be recompiling packages so that they will run faster on my
athlon
