RE: X config silly newbie question
Thanks. Not confusing, but I don't have any of those files. I have a
.wmconfig directory with one file: rc.config. This has three lines: my
wallpaper, focus policy and color sets. I can't figure out where Caldera is
putting their stuff. I'll search the Caldera site.

The menu is controlled by the Window Manager you use. If it's
fvwm, then ~/.fvwmrc if Window Maker ~/GNUstep/Defaults/, if
AfterStep ~/.steprc, and so on. You may have to create the
~/.xinitrc. If you want to move the windows for these apps around,
and really do anything with more than one, you need a window
manager. My advice is to get the newest version of Window Maker
(0.53.0) build it. ;) It has a graphical configuration program and if
you ever need help, you can hop onto irc.ais.net #WindowMaker
and me(sig11), or someone else will help you right away. ;) That
help or did I just confuse you more? ;)
