It's easy to sell NT to management, not so easy to sell UNIX. As for apache,
it's also easy to jump on the bandwagon and run the #1 webserver with the NT 
(what they consider the #1 os), no matter how big the performance increase. 

Either way Apache is kicking ass and that's all that matters :-)
