I would have assumed it would work as well.  There are only a couple of
common wireless chipsets these days, and for the most part they just
work.  There might be some missing firmware that you can install to make
it work or something, but of course you need to get it on the network to
figure that out.

In the mean time, maybe pick up a cheap Linux-compatible USB adapter?
