That's what I thought too. There isn't a network key. I pulled my hair out over this and the fact that there isn't an Ethernet connection makes it even more difficult. It doesn't load from the live USB either.

I did look at the hardware compatibility list which does not specifically list the IdeaPad. I made an assumption.

I'll make another assumption that you were in Trinidad with your bride.

That's weird.  It really should Just Work.  You might want to check if
there is a function key for "airplane mode" and try toggling it if there
is.  A lot of time that's a hardware kill switch.

(And BTW, I apologize for not approving your message sooner.  You caught
me on vacation.  :)
