Re: no audio

I apologize if any/all of this is obvious...

1 - Check your mixer, make sure you aren't muted or turned down all the way.
2 - Verify your user is in the "audio" group ('groups username')
3 - Make sure that the proper modules are loaded for your sound card
('lsmod' ... probably 'lsmod | grep snd')
