no audio

Fedora 15 x86_64 When I first installed I had sound youtube, MP3's 

whatever. Now I don't know if I lost sound after a resent update or

after I ran. This script  package-cleanup --cleandupes which killed 

a couple of my programs skype, adobe reader and a few others. Will

someone please tell me how to start trouble shooting this sound 

issue.
