Looks like BSD Canada will be in May:

Seems like a good way to see what BSD guts loo like. If I take my Lance we 
would have room for 3-4. Anybody interested? It's about a five hour flight 
up there, a little longer coming back.

Costs would be:         $165 (US) for the full conference
Dorm room:              $ 45 (US)
University Apartment:   $ 99 (US)
Quality Inn             $145 (CN)
Transport (for 4)       $450 (about the same as commercial)

Might also be able to get some cheap airfares, .. but I haven't been able 
to locate any.
