That's because 90% of people still think of RPM in pre-Fedora land.  At
least this has been my #1 issue on select other lists, where I get
drowned out by distro suggestions when people such as yourself ask.
Although I'm seeing less and less of it any more.

I definitely can't fault this list with regard to technical help on RPM
distros.
