	If you are using Gnome, renaming .gnome* (possibly .gconf*) in
your home directory (in runlevel 1-3) and then logging into Gnome should
do the trick, as it will recreate the directories with the defaults.

	If it's kde, then .kde and .kderc should be renamed.
