okay, so i have looked up on the LDP.org (or www.tldp.org) and i found
nfs-howto. one line in there says on the client side i should type this
to mount the server directory
> # mount master.foo.com:/home /mnt/home
k ... now i have questions ... the # mount master.foo.com, on my
computer that would be [# mount 192.168.0.101:/mp3 /mnt/mp3] or would it
be [# mount 192.168.0.101:/portney/mp3 /mnt/mp3]. i say this because
the complete pathway on the server (my computer) from the client
computer (kelli's) is choice #2.
btw, i'm shutting down the aDSL connection i have with Yahoo! and i'm
going with charters highspeed 3mg download, god knows what the download
is, hellagood fast internet. if anyone knows how i can abuse this, let
me know (alla bit torrent or something productive). nothing illegal
mind you, i'm in college and would like to graduate a with a BS in
Nursing in four years, and not be getting out of jail in four years. :)
