Joe,

Without knowing any of the specs(RAM/HD....) I would
say Slackware would be the most obvious choice.  There
are also some distros on floppy, that serve as a good
'terminal'(websurfing/email).  Reply with your specs
on the machine and maybe we can help a little better.
