one more thing



Gahh ------

I may actually have a totally working system soon. The last problem I 
was having has now been fixed.

When doing;
mount /mnt/cdrom or,
mount /dev/cdrom /mnt/cdrom or,
mount /dev/hdc /mnt/cdrom ----
would produce

/dev/cdrom is not a valid block device (I was willing to argue this with 
the kernel but alas ....)

The 2.6 kernel no longer  needs to have scsi emulation for ATAPI cdroms. 
I removed both
hdc=ide-scsi and
hdd=ide-scsi  from /boot/grub/grub.conf and viola!
