apt-get RH9
Hello all,
Can I use apt-get to install the latest official kernel for RH9?
I have a RH9 machine with apt-get installed (apt-0.5.5cnc6-fr1) and a
sources.list file pointing at kspei:
rpm http://ftp.kspei.com/pub/apt redhat/9/en/i386 os updates-os kspei
The machine is currently running kernel 2.4.20-8bigmem. According to
Red Hat's update site, the latest build is kernel-bigmem-2.4.20-28.9.
However, I cannot seem to use apt-get to install it:
apt-get install kernel-bigmem-2.4.20-28.9
E: Couldn't find package kernel-bigmem-2.4.20-28.9
One thing I noticed is that this kernel is in the i686 folder and not
i386. Should I change that in the sources.list?
Regards,
- Robert
