Re: Question about networking...
The 127:... stuff comes from zeroconf. THis is
standard behavior when dhcp fails. I don't understand
ZeroConf, but it is supposed to simplify connecting to
all kinds of networks. The 127... behavior as well as
the sub interface are standard behavior when dhcp
fails. That's all I know (other than do a little
zeroconf googling).
