rpm -ivh /var/cache/apt/archives/perl_5.8.1-92_i386.rpm
apt-get dist-upgrade
For whatever reason, those perl modules were pulled back into the main
perl package.
So far I haven't noticed any other issues with the upgrade. (Oh,
except *ALWAYS* upgrade rpm *BEFORE* rebooting into one of the nptl
kernels. Bad things happen if you don't.)
