apt-ing to fc1 from rh9



im trying to apt-get dist-upgrade from rh9 to fc1.

i followed the directions on the wiki page

here is what i get:

1274 upgraded, 33 newly installed, 35 replaced, 3 removed and 0 not 
upgraded.

i thought about uninstalling perl-CGI-2.81... but mysql lists it as a 
dependency.  mysql is a dependency for a whole crapload of other packages.

is there a way to force apt to do the install?  i read the man page but 
didnt see anything.

i know with rpm directly you can do a -F (or is it -f?) and force the 
install, but im not seeing any way to do that with apt
