Apache SSL on virtual server

I *had* SSL working on Apache 2.0, Linux, RH 9.  I added a second
virtual site, which works, but now my first site work with HTTP only
- no SSL.  Is there a trick to getting this to work?  Everytime I add
<VirtualHost server:443> etc... it complains on start up.  If I leave
it alone, it runs on 443, you can access it on 443, but not using https://.
