No, actually, I didn't. There's no reason why a distribution
shouldn't work well for n systems, regardless of the value of n.

The first problem I mentioned (lack of binaries) makes it impossible
to support even one system, much less any larger number. The second
problem (BSD init scripts) makes it nearly impossible to build proper
packages for things that need to start on boot.
Neither problem has anything to do with the number of systems you run,
but I was hoping to point out how they the don't scale as proof of the
inherent problems. "Not scaling" is just a symptom.

Which is just fine. It is your right to have your own opinion, and I
respect your right to be wrong. ;-)
