OK, I installed the Red Hat 8 that I got from the
Red Hat Road Show.
The first thing that happened was that I was
allowed to use up-date. Everything worked fine.
The next time I booted up and started Misolla,
the browser would vanish when I put a url in the url line or even when I
tried to connect using a book mark.
I re-installed Red Hat. I tried to use
up-date and it wants $60 a year for the service. It say to run
/urs/sbin/rhn_register. There is no rhn_register.
I'm about to go back to Mandrake.
Any suggestions?
I'm Frustrated and going to bed for
today.
