Re: so has anyone installed RH8 yet ? (fwd)



Given our recent discussion of rpm breakage, I thought some of you
might be interested in this.

I did notice that none of these mentioned total, complete database
corruption like I had once...  Maybe that was a fluke.

The workaround seems to be removing the __* files from the rpm folder,
but this will be an ugly thing to explain to folks when they need to use
rpm, for example when an updated rpm is issued.
