As a temporary thing, DosLinux would probably be just what you are
looking for.  I wouldn't use it indefinitely though, since the
overhead of running on a DOS filesystem will slow the system down
quite a bit.

I used to have a copy of it on ftp.silug.org...  If you want, I can
put it back on there again.
