Virtual Web Hosting

OK -- First can Linux(apache) host virtual servers with only one IP
address??
i.e.	www.mydomain.com 192.168.1.2 /home/httpd/html/
	linux.mydomain.com 192.168.1.2 /home/user/public_html

or do I need seperate IP addresses for each server??

Whichever is true, how? I have tried the VirtualServer section in
http.conf but I can't seem to get it right.
