Re: BeOS
I have used BeOS v 4.0 for intel and have had no problems with it. It
worked with my video card (diamond viper v550 TNT chipset) and ran
beautifully on my dual PII-333 machine. I have used it on a single celeron
300 once and it worked fine with an ATI card. I think the os is just
amazing. There are few applications for it, but, it is designed as a
multimedia design os. I think it fits the bill nicely. I just recently
removed it because I had to repartition and have yet had time to reinstall
it. I could do about anything I needed to on a day to day basis, except
open excel spreadsheets...but I didn't look for a program to do that
either...oh well...my 2cents
