ftp reseting time/date

i downloaded SuSE 6.0 and am having some trubble with the date/time stamps
getting changed on my system. is it possible to set them to the correct time
without downloading them again.

i just purchased a M$ intellimouse trackball and the 3rd button dosent seem
to work. i havent read the howto's but does anybody have any expreience with
them.
