Re: Howto pointers?
Ayup, that was me. The HOWTO was mostly crap but it did help me find the
place where to download the awe32 driver and insert into my kernel. But,
that was the easy part. I then worked with isapnp to configure the card
as one of the HOWTO explains, but I had to pass the settings to the card
on bootup after isapnp configured the card when I loaded the sound
modules. It took a combination of 3 HOWTO's and some previous info I had
learned from another linux guru *hats off to Steve* some years back. It
was crazy, but it was worth it.
