Apache



I did a default install of RedHat Linux 5.2 with Apache web server.

The default web site words OK; however, the URL http://ipnumber/~user/
gives an error something like "you don't have permissings to access the
directory  error 403"

The public_html directory does exist under the directory and both the
directory and index.html file have 755 permissions.

I have looked through the access.conf, srm.conf, httpd.conf files (compared
them to those on the kccn machine) and don't see it.

Any thoughts????
