Re: regular expressions

I have to give my recomendation to O'Reilly's "Mastering Regular
Expressions". I bought it about a month ago, and since then almost
everyone I work with has borrowed it. After reading it, most of them have
purchased their own. 

It covers all aspects of regular expressions including specifics on
programs like sed/awk, Perl, Tcl, GNU Emacs, and many others. It even goes
into the differences between implementations of these programs by
different vendors.
