I have been running pihole docker images for quite some time. It's been fantastic. I run it under microk8s. The only thing is to ensure that you use a volume so you don't lose you configuration on reboot. I am happy to share my k8s yml files fi you are interested.

Looking for guidance from those more experience with Docker than I have.
It seems Pi-Hole, the super ad blocker system, is now available for Docker
installation in CentOS 8.
While I probably would rather run Pi-Hole as its own discrete appliance on
my Raspberry Pi 4 / 8GB, the Red Hat / CentOS / Fedora group don't seem
inclined to support this latest model with a pre-built ARM image. My
CentOS 8 storage server would seem to be an ideal alternative:
