Logitech cordless desktop



For years I've been a big fan of Logitech cordless desktop keyboards
and mice. Each set comes with a keyboard, mouse, and a very small USB
transceiver.

A first generation transceiver was permanently paired to one keyboard
and one mouse. This led to chaos in a household where your significant
other likes to collect all keyboards in one box, toss all mice in
another, and all transceivers in a third (along with thumb drives and
other similar parts).

Logitech has solved that problem with a second generation tranceiver
which can be paired/unpaired with any Logitech components. This can be
identified by an orange dot containing a six-pointed black star. The
most recent low profile transceiver can be had for only $14 apiece:

Until recently reprogramming these little jewels had to be done under
Windows or macOS. Now there's a simple "ltunify" utility that gets the
job done very nicely in a Linux terminal window:
