Hello to all, I've been looking at a netbook more and more recently, and after I had my MacBook Pro stolen earlier this week (no worries, I had good backups and insurance, also I have my desktop as well as a headless Laptop (currently pretending to be a server)), the thought was ignited again, this time with the reason of carrying a cheaper laptop around.
I, obviously, like my Linux, infact until my laptop was stolen I was 6 weeks clean of Windows! And that time was pretty evenly split between OS X and Fedora. I'm liking the improvements in netbooks recently and was thinking about getting one that has a 11"-12" screen with either nVidia ION or AMD set up, the biggest things would be dual core and capable of driving a 1080p (or 720p) external monitor with HDMI, outside of that 2GB RAM would be a good minimum and hard drive is very little concern, price however I would prefer under $400 but a max of $500.
