Actually, VirtualBox was a candidate. I rejected it two reasons. First,
it's an Oracle (formerly Sun) product. Call that a subjective reason.
Second, VirtualBox has no Player counterpart. That's an important part
of the security plan: build the client using VMware Workstation ($$),
then clone and distribute it with VMware Player (free). Workstation's
ability to defeat security lockdowns disqualifies it for distribution in
this situation.
Of course, all of this is completely off topic with respect to my
partitioning inquiry.
