Just a sugestion! I am not that knowledgable, but it sounds like your more of a Ubuntu fan. Just set up a tri boot and share swap space between F14 & Ubuntu. Thus giving you the functionality you are use to with Ubuntu.

Nah, I use Ubuntu from 8.04 up until 10.10 and watched it get more and more mainstreamed (such as online storage services and a digital music store run by Canonical), now it's like Windows with some quirks to it. That's not what I wanted in my Linux at all.
