As the old expression says, "The devil is in the details." That bit of wisdom may be going thru the collective mind of the Fedora Engineering Steering Committee (FESCO) as they consider which components will go into Fedora 14 Beta.

An unexpected number of systemd bugs were identified in the F14 alpha release. These are unlikely to be fixed in time for the beta release. There's a fair possibility that F14 will have to revert to using upstart, and systemd will stay in development until F15.
