BTW, I want to point out Mandriva's new tool, SmartPM:  
  http://www.smartpm.org  

It has 4 different interfaces in the _stock_ build:  
- CLI
- CLI+shell
- CLI+feedback
- GUI

It also supports the FC3/YUM-RPM meta-data, as well as a
crapload of other distros (even Slackware IIRC).  The resolution
logic seemed far _superior_ to both APT and YUM, and most
people seem to agree with the current builds.

DAG was pointing it out on FedoraForum, and a lot of people
were sounding off on how good it was compare to various
YUM GUIs:
