Although, lately, I'm finding I like to get my "in depth" results from Wikipedia.

And for pricing information, I use Froogle, pricewatch, and FatWallet.

For hardcore coupon/discount stuff on name-brands, FatWallet rocks.

Also, check out Firefox extensions to add more search engines to the dropdown.

You can add Wikipedia, Froogle, dictionary.com, and foreign language search engines.
Makes it easy to switch to another search engine.

And for the "everything" search engine, I've liked dogpile, which presents meta-results from several search engines in one spot.
