though i'm thinking of reinstalling again, simply so i can get my 
portney drive to be autoloaded at boot.  i formatted it under fat32 (its 
an 80 gig drive, which is only using 20 or 30 gigs).  i did it cause i 
was thinking of going back to windows.  but then after i did it i was 
thinking of staying with Linux.  just don't like windows, :(
