BTW, this is exactly what I did recently on a borrowed Windows 98
machine:

  - installed FireFox
  - installed Bram's BitTorrent
  - used Bram's BitTorrent to download Java 1.5 from the Azureus page
  - downloaded Azureus
  - installed both Java 1.5 and Azureus on Windows 98.

Works great.
