Yes, caching-nameserver-7.2-7 is installed. Funny you should mention
that because I don't think I've ever seen anything that tells the user
how to activate it once it's been installed. There's a comment about it
in named.conf, but unless the '.' zone statement is its configuration,
that's it.

Besides named, is there a dependent or supporting service that needs to
be restarted to kick named in the fanny and get it running? Something
like portmapper for nfs?
