Been reading that as well as about the files in the kbd package (rpm
-ql kbd).
I imagine the end result will look something like this:
rl1::ctrlalt1:/sbin/init 1
The question is how does one map the key stroke ctrl+alt+1 to the
kbrequest ctrlalt1? I've been reading through 'man 5 keymaps', but
thus far nothing obvious comes to mind.
